BTW, what is marketing? Marketing is defined by many academicians and industrialist in so many ways. There is no concrete one definition for marketing. Everyone is right in their own experience. Because marketing makes or breaks the business. In my opinion, marketing is nothing but the process of making as much as happy customers for your product or service and converting them as your brand ambassador. Every one knows the word of mouth is the best and proven marketing. But now days word of mouth has become electronic. Electronic word spreads faster at a lightening speed. Word of mouth becomes viral. The first tweet from first show of a super star movie decides its box office fate. That is it. It spreads electronically at an unimaginable speed even before first show gets over. In fact, the second show of a movie by a popular hero is decided by one first tweet from a fan while watching the first show. Most of the time, main stream and traditional medias nowadays depends upon the things coming from social media. During this digital era, making customers happy became more than ever. Making initial adapters to your service and product has become predominant as it has direct influence over your top line.

To be an innovator, everyone thinks that we have to become a Elon mask or Bill gates or Steve Jobs etc. Actually, they were like what we are today. They became innovators and changed the world order by using their common sense. According to me, innovation is nothing but identifying an obstacle in our life and removing the obstacle by using our common sense. Let me explain this little further with an example. Assume that you are on a road travelling. While travelling on a road, we notice a big stone or a rock obstructing our path to proceed further. 99.99% of the traveller  would complain that rock and make a small diversion left or right that blocked road and start to move on. Other would follow the diversion and new path is made. That new diverted path might be a longer one consuming and not smoother consuming more fuel  and more time. This majority crowd continues to blame that stone for sometime. After sometime they get habituated to that new road and stop complaining about that stone which is obstructing the way. Gradually, that stone would disappear from the mind of people. This majority crowd is just a complainers and follow the path made by someone. When this continues, one day one person thinks that because of this block of stone, every one suffers taking a diversion. Everyone spends more fuel and time. He decided to slice that rock into pieces by hammering it. One fine day he comes to that location with a hammer in his hand and start to break that rock. When he was doing that, many would brand him as he is a sick person. What is the necessity for him to spend time every day to break that stone. But without giving ear and eye to others, he keeps on breaking and one fine day, he has broken the stone and removed all debris and make a straight road and construct a toll booth also. Now he comes up with a story that you can sane fuel, money and time if you pay little toll here and take this straight root. Seeing that advantage of using straight and smooth road, passengers start to pay toll. Now this person has become an entrepreneur. This person has become an innovator. He is not a Steve Jobs or Elon Mask. But he used his common sense to remove that obstacle. This is the innovation. This is the startup. So in order to become an innovator, look around closely and observe the society and things around you. There might be a pain for people but habituated to that. There might be an obstacle. Now use your common sense to remove that obstacle to become an entrepreneur and innovator.

The word passion is the most misunderstood word. Everyone has a different definition and understanding. In my opinion, finding an emotional attachment to the what we do is passion. I am an average student till 8th grade at my school though my parents insisted a lot on studies and continued to push me study well. But I never listened to their advise and continue to perform in subpar level. When I was in 8th grade, my parents arranged some function at my home. Around 130 of my relatives did attend that function. Being lived in village, most of my relatives live in village doing farming as their prime work. Among that 130 people, almost 110 people were farmers. Remaining small set of people studied and got married to nice girls from decent family. I was able to see the clear difference between people who do farming and people who work as doctors and engineers.  The educated people got married to nice girls with good family background, their children were speaking good English, dressed up nicely and some owned cars also. So I quickly learned that education made that difference. So to change the life style as I was also born to a farmer, I decided to study well. Now I got the reason for why I had to study. As soon as I found the reason for why I had to study, I got so attached to that emotional reason. After that realisation, I started to goto to school regularly, took the teachers and studies more seriously. Became a different person focussing on studies. Because of that, I did score 100 out of 100 in mathematics in my government school. I did well in +2 also and joined engineering to study electronics and communication. In the college also, I ended up scoring first mark in the college and over all second in the university. Finally I say that passion is nothing but finding an emotional attachment to what you do. As soon as I found my passion for studies, I started to study well and earned engineering degree. So I am asking you to be more attentive and observe deeply into yourself to find why you do what you do. if you find that, that is the passion. The crowd really cheered for this definition.
